Illustrated Post Card Company

Based in New York at 118 Chambers St.

The company was a prolific producer of postcards during the height of their popularity. This prominent publisher specialized in creating a diverse range of tinted halftone postcards, which were part of various series. These postcards were expertly printed by Emil Pinkau in Leipzig, Saxony. Each series of postcards dedicated to a particular city or location was identified by its unique number prefix.

The company also released a set of chromolithographic fine art cards, which were produced in Dresden and didn't bear numerical designations. Among their most renowned offerings were a collection of postcards that showcased various scenes from the bustling City of New York. These particular postcards were notable for their use of vibrant and lively colors, complemented by a distinctive font for their titles.

In 1909, the company stopped printing in Germany and began to print their postcards themselves.
