It is possible that this is J.J. Samuels. Julien Joseph Samuels was born in London in 1883. He was one of the six children of Emmanuel Isaac Samuels and his wife Maria. He was educated at Chatham House School in Ramsgate, Kent. He became a postcard dealer and stationer in the early 1900s.
